Gerbil Vibe. I am not kidding

Posted on

Do you remember that old rumor about the Gerbil in Richard Gere’s ass? Well, apparently California Exotic Novelties thought Gerbilling was going to catch on or something ’cause they started making this vibrator that looks like a Gerbil years ago. I remember it from when I first opened Early to Bed and have talked about it many times over the years when speaking about crazy sex toy design. Who the hell wants a Gerbil in their butt (or snatch)? Why make a toy that looks like gerbil at all? When you put it on a flexible stick like this you are just inviting it to be shoved in an ass and I just cannot get the notion of what a real Gerbil would feel… I can’t even finish that sentence. ew.

Anyway, imagine my surprise and JOY when a few weeks ago I noticed that it was STILL in production! I knew I had to get one for my collection before they disappeared forever and people started to doubt my tale of the Gerbilling sex toy.

So here it is… the Gerbil Flex Stimulatorâ„¢ (note the trademark – don’t go making your own Gerbil vibe). Enjoy!

And if you want something a little less creepy to put in your butt… may I suggest you look here.

That is totally creepy!! I’ve seen that around a time or two and it always invokes feelings of dread and horror for real gerbils. Excellent addition to the collection.

So wrong. Although in Japan, I’m sure they have Pokemon anal toys, and much, much worse.

I think it’s still on the market because it’s the longest vibe of this kind. I’ve seen it recommended to a gal who, because of her disability, needed those 14″ to be able to stimulate her clit. Other vibes were either too short or too heavy and she couldn’t manage any creative positioning.

That said – you’re right – scary design and materials.

    When did this come out?

Industry tid bit- years ago… maybe between 1990- 1992 I was at an event in Colorado with a distributor and various sales people from various companies.. and our table came up with a drunken brainstorm- a Gerbil Vibrator. It was hilarious as Tom Stewart from Sportsheets brainstormed the most ridiculous thing ever, with a habit trail accessory, and we actually came up with a theme song set to “muscrat love” for it. I remember Tom having a sales rep from Topco take notes on it so they could “develop” it later and I believe Tom gave some guy at the bar that night $100 to create a logo for it. Who knew someone was listening in and taking us seriously. LOL

Wow. A habitrail would make this VERY interesting!
